Duke XCAT phantoms for verification
Scientists at Vinaver Medical use the XCAT program developed at the Center for Virtual Imaging Trials.
Scientists at Vinaver Medical use the XCAT program developed at the Center for Virtual Imaging Trials to produce patient-diverse anatomy for validation of TissueXplorer® software training. XCAT produces highly detailed male and female anatomies for subjects that are 50th percentile in terms of height/weight and organ volumes. It contains thousands of defined structures to the tiniest body vessels. It efficiently emulates breathing motion, cardiac cycles, and organ movements.
